GENERAL

The Ā 45-0318A consists the same elements as a generator, this PMG is designed to improve start up capabilities for motors, pumps, compressors and HVAC systems by 300%. Very easy to install although we recommend a certified generator or electrician to conduct the up-fit. If you planning to replace a damaged PMG you don’t need to change out the automatic voltage regulator (AVR). However if this is a new installation you need to upgrade the voltage regulator in order to take advantage of the PMG benefits.

THE FOLLOWING REGULATORS CAN BE USED WITH THIS PMG:

MX341 (E000-23412/1P)

MX321 (E000-23212/1P)

DM110 (E000-23800)

APPLICATIONS

  • Can be used on HC4Ā series Stamford alternator frames
  • Mainly used on Cummins Power Generation (CPG), Onan, Broadcrown and Hipower/Himoinsa generator sets

    The MX321-2 automatic voltage regulator is used on larger Stamford generator alternator ends. Ā These units are installed as a standard from factory on alternator ends HC6 and P7 stamford frames. This regulator allows 3 phase sensing which is constantly sensing the voltages across all 3 lines vs just 2 lines like on other standard AVRs. As an added benefit the regulator enables quadrature droop input, this enables the chance for multiple synchronizing across many generator sets.
