GENERAL
The ALT461KP001 Permanent Magnet Generator (PMG) makes the generator end 300% more efficient during initial start. When generators are unable to recover fast enough from a voltage drip in most cases adding a PMG will solve the issue, Ideally use for equipment’s with high in rush currents. Always check the equipment’s manufacture specification
KIT BREAK-DOWN:
PMG Kit will include:
(A) Housing
(B) Dummy shaft extension
(C) PMG rotor
(D) PMG stator
(E) Cover Plate
(F) Spacer Housing (Available only with the PMG 8 kit)
PMG does not include voltage regulator
APPLICATIONS
- Can be used on Leroy Somer LSA 46.2, 46.3, 47.2 frames
- Mainly used on SDMO, Kohler, Waukesha, Olympian, FG Wilson & Caterpillar generator sets
