To complete your wrap, please order the necessary power cord with plug for your application. Each wrap is equipped with a 9″ (229 mm) pigtail featuring a 3-pin connector for seamless adaptation to a NEMA or Schuko plug.

Prioritizing worry-free operation, the built-in thermostat effectively prevents damage or spills resulting from overheating. Crafted from durable, fire-retardant vinyl resistant to oil and acids, the wrap guarantees reliability in challenging conditions. Featuring a user-friendly design, the wrap includes a convenient strap and buckle for easy adjustment or removal. Tailored to accommodate various battery sizes, it is available in multiple lengths, eliminating excess overlap and ensuring a precise fit with no exposed, unheated sections.
In temperatures below 80 Ā°F (27 Ā°C), batteries lose their ability to deliver full cranking power. During freezing conditions, a battery may only provide 65% of its maximum cranking power, and in extreme weather, an unheated battery’s cranking power can plummet to 40% or lower.
UL Recognized thermostatically controlled battery thermal wraps provide optimum heating regardless of ambient temperature. At 80 Ā°F (27 Ā°C), the battery will achieve maximum cold cranking amps.

ā¢ Adjustable strap included for securing wrap around the battery.
ā¢ For optimized heating, properly overlap the wrap and have the thermostat stay in contact
with the battery. Maxium allowable overlap is 10ā (25 cm).
ā¢ If placed inside a case or box, HOTSTART recommends a minimum clearance of
1.5ā (38 mm) between battery and enclosure wall.
