GENERAL
HOTSTART’s EE heaters are approved for hazardous locations and are available in both single and three-phase configurations. They are directly wired into the main electrical system. The EE series shares key features with our CB/CL heaters, including a pressure die-cast aluminum tank, built-in high limit thermostat, and an optional flow-through thermostat. With an all-metal mounting bracket and a heat power of up to 5 kW, the EE series is well-suited for heavy-duty large engine applications in Class I, Group D (Hazardous Locations).
These thermosiphon heaters, mounted externally from the engine block and utilizing convection, eliminate the need for an additional pump. They can be installed on a variety of engines without requiring a specific part for water jacket conformity. This adaptable and efficient heating system makes thermosiphon heaters an ideal choice for a wide range of engine heating applications.
Preheating diesel or gas engines ensures a quick start-up and rapid assumption of full load, minimizing wear on critical components.
