GENERAL
The AVR is one of the hardest working components in a diesel generator set. It’s constantly under a lot of heat when the generator is in operation, luckily the regulator has a special epoxy coating to protect the sensitive components installed on the AVR. The automatic voltage regulator also provides the LAM function which helps the generator set recover from transient voltage drops. Ā The R250 contains all these features at a very good price and it is built by Leroy Somer, providing the best in voltage regulation AVR’s for AC alternators.
