The Stamford AS480UL AVR is one of the newest automatic voltage regulators introduced as a standard on all P0/P1 Stamford frames. This voltage regulator uses the same functions as a standard Stamford regulator but is made specifically to work with an Excitation Boost System (EBS) to provide a short-circuit current when needed. Unlike other regulators in the market this AVR in particular is UL rated and can be used in a UL2200 application.
