Description
GENERAL
The digital voltage regulator is a control unit that regulates the output voltage of a brushless AC generator by controlling the current into the generator exciter field. It is a highly sensitive component and vital to the general operation of a generator or AC alternator. Input power to the automatic voltage regulator is derived from a single-phase permanent magnet generator (PMG).
The DVR2400 is supplied in an encapsulated package designed for behind-the-panel mounting. The front side of the regulator displays the AVR status and generator conditions
