GENERAL
PMG ALT491KP001 recommended on LS 49.1 frames its number one job is to improve the alternator’s efficiently to about 300%. The PMG does not increase KW/KVA output rating, what it does it works hand on hand with the generator to help relieve stress put on the AC alternator and voltage regulator AVR during start up. This PMG can replace any Leroy Somer LS 49.1 frame that contains an AREP or existing PMG excitation system

PMG Kit will include:
(A) Housing
(B) Dummy shaft extension
(C) PMG rotor
(D) PMG stator
(E) Cover Plate
(F) Spacer Housing (Available only with the PMG 8 kit)
PMG does not include voltage regulator
APPLICATIONS
- Can be used on Leroy Somer LSA 49.1 frames
- Mainly used on SDMO, Kohler, Waukesha, Olympian, FG Wilson & Caterpillar generator sets
