The Cosimat N+ AVR has many features such as voltage regulating and single or parallel synchronous applications. It is widely used in Industrial and Marine applications. The automatic voltage regulator has a special epoxy coating to ensure the sensitive electrical components installed on the regulator will not burn out due to high temperatures. This part’s primary duty is to regulate voltage and sustain it at set point. This is purely automatic and there’s no need for any generator technician to intervene during generator operation. However, an experienced AVK or Cummins generator engineer or technician will be needed for initial set up or fine tuning as this regulator is shipped from factory with default settings.

The Stamford AS480UL AVR is one of the newest automatic voltage regulators introduced as a standard on all P0/P1 Stamford frames. This voltage regulator uses the same functions as a standard Stamford regulator but is made specifically to work with an Excitation Boost System (EBS) to provide a short-circuit current when needed. Unlike other regulators in the market this AVR in particular is UL rated and can be used in a UL2200 application.
The MA330 is used on large AVK generator ends. Although this regulator has already been discontinued the demand for this product is still very high. This AVR is still available for sale as a spare aftersales part. The new replacement is the new DM110 digital automatic voltage regulator.
